From the moment the lights dim, you are transported to the past with the air filled with music on a story of how the Windrush Generation first received their invitation to England, and on arrival to England, you will discover how the Windrush Generation brought their rich cultural heritage to the UK, or what they called their Mother Country.

"RUSH - A Joyous Jamaican Journey" is a celebration of the Windrush Generation, through music, history, acting, dancing, and audience participation. It's a tribute to the creativity and resilience the Windrush Generation had from the moment they arrived in England back in 1948 to this very present day. It beautifully illustrates the power reggae music had to promote social change and cultural expression, quickly influencing many generations and becoming worldwide known. It also paid tribute to Jamaican born Conrad Kelly, ex Steel Pulse Drummer who passed away in May 2024.
